Facebook is available in Indian Languages

After a weekend holiday, when I logged into Facebook, I saw a welcome message to start using it in Indian language.

This is significant step. Orkut is dominating Indian social web for long time and hence it can be seen as a step from Facebook into Indian social web.

So availability of Facebook Hindi language means Facebook  will be accessible to larger population of Indian subcontinent.

However, one of the issues with Facebook is that one cannot post messages in regional language. This is big plus for Orkut and it will be tough for Facebook to expand in such scenarios.

So which one will you prefer to use, Facebook or Orkut? I currently maintain my profile on both sites and  both has there pros and cons. What about you?
