Multi-cloud Data Management platform Vizion.ai is now Generally Available

Panzura announced its new multi-cloud data management platform Vizion.ai is now Generally Available.

The unified view of Vizion.ai platform allows Virtual consolidation of all metadata, Machine learning for predictive analytics to lower costs based on data access patterns and performance/cost analysis of cloud storage locations, Open API interface for its multi-cloud-data engine and a marketplace hosting both Panzura and third-party applications and plugins.

According to the announcement, the base service includes five administrative logins and three applications for Open NFS/SMB plug-in, Freedom NAS plug-in and Vizion audit. Open NFS/SMB plug-in allows indexing of NetApp, Isilon, and VNX NAS filers. Freedom NAS plug-in helps in indexing, searching, analyzing and recovering file data in case of a disaster in the Panzura CloudFS global file system.

Availability of Vizion.ai Platform

The Base Service costs at $300/TB per year of data indexed along with five administrative logins and three applications. It provides full access to the platform's advanced search, analytics, and policy-control engine.

The Premium Service is priced at $300/TB per year for data indexed and $60/user per year and includes the Base Service plus Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS) enabling end users to search and restore their data according to permissions defined in Active Directory.

Vizion.ai platform will be available for subscription starting January 1, 2019.
