Wipro Launches Cloud Migration Platform tool, QuMiC, for Oracle Cloud

Wipro has launched a comprehensive Cloud Migration Platform tool, QuMiC for its enterprise customers to migrate to Oracle cloud. The QuMiC stands for Quick Migration to Cloud.

Wipro is India's third largest software services provider and also global information technology, consulting & business process services company. The company is also a Platinum level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN).

The announcement said that the QuMIC migration tool helps in migrating all aspects required for a cloud implementation to Oracle Cloud for a wide variety of software environments. The company further claimed that the tool is capable of automating the migration of on-premise platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite, a version management tool, or another cloud software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment to Oracle cloud.

The Savings Claims in Cloud Migration

Wipro in the announcement said that QuMic helps in reducing overall cloud migration time by up to 60 percent and 30 percent savings in overall cloud implementation aka migration costs.

The QuMic platform further reduces the risk of manual errors and ensures a secure migration to Oracle Cloud.
