Wipro expands strategic partnership with Google Cloud


Wipro announced a strategic partnership with the Google Cloud to accelerate the digital transformation and Cloud adoption for global organizations.

The Bangalore based software service exporter said that it has a dedicated practice focused on the Google Cloud Platform.

The practice helps accelerate the technology and business transformation for the enterprises. Enterprise leveraging the Wipro's dedicated practices focused on Google Cloud Platform can win with offerings in and around data analytics, application modernization, SAP workload migration, artificial Intelligence and industrialized cloud migration at scale, the announcement notes.

Wipro also revealed that it would boost the innovation for enterprises in industry verticals such as BFSI, consumer goods, healthcare, and semiconductor with a ‘business first’ strategy.

In order to accelerate the Google Cloud adoption across the enterprise at scale, Wipro's Enterprise Digital Operations Center and Wipro's Cloud Studio Center have been integrated with the Velostrata, Google Kubernetes Engine, and some other Google Cloud services. This integration brings a DevOps oriented pipeline approach to an industrialized migration, the announcement notes.

Wipro also revealed that it would integrate Anthos, Google open platform for managing applications in a multi-cloud world into these offerings to enable the hybrid cloud deployment for its customers.
