Bugcrowd secured $30M in the funding round of Series D
BugCrowd, a San Francisco, CA-based crowd-sourced security company has recently secured $30 million in the funding of Series D, reports TechCrunch.
BugCrowd is founded by the Ashish Gupta. It is a crowdsourced security company that enables organizations to manage their Vulnerability Disclosure, Bug Bounty, Attack Surface Management, and Next Gen Pen Test programs.

In TechCrunch report, BugCrowd CEO Ashish Gupta, said, "The fight against cybercriminals is never-ending, and attack surfaces are constantly expanding. We’re expanding our offerings, applying the intelligence from our crowd to a variety of different security use cases to help customers find and fix vulnerabilities faster, and continue to scale the platform. Our customers see a ten-times higher number of critical vulnerabilities from our pen test solution compared to other assessments because we bring the right researcher with the right skills to deliver insightful submissions."BugCrowd's Latest Funding
The round, which makes the total funding of the company to around $80 million, was backed by the Rally Ventures with participation from both the new and existing venture partners, noted the announcement.The company, as of now, has plans to use the funds to accelerate the expansion of its platform.
