Orbita secured $9 Million in Series A Funding Round backed by HealthX Ventures
Orbita, a Boston based provider of conversational AI, supported voice and chatbot solutions for healthcare has now secured $9 million in the Series A funding round.
Founed in 2015, Boston based Orbita offers provides voice and chat solutions for life sciences and healthcare sectors. The company has secured a total of $16.5 million in funding over 3 rounds to date, according to CrunchBase.
The company's conversational AI platform enables healthcare organizations to create and manage HIPAA compliant virtual healthcare assistants for clinical and consumer applications.

Orbita's Laetest Funding
The round was backed by the HealthX Ventures and Philips Health Technology Ventures with participation from Newark Venture Partners and Cultivation Capital.
The company, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to continue expand into life sceiences market in post-COVID world, notes the announcement.
Orbita's customers and partners include Cognizant, Mass General Brigham, AmWell, and May Clinic.
