API protection platform provider Salt Security secured $30 million in funding
Salt Security, a California based API security company, has now secured $30 million in a Series B funding round.
Salt Security is founded by Roey Eliyahu in the year 2016. It offers an API Protection Platform to prevent attacks, using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to automatically and continuously identify and protect APIs.

Salt Security's Latest Funding
The funding round was backed by Sequoia Capital with participation from Tenaya Capital, Y Combinator, and S Capital VC.
Post funding, Carl Eschenbach, the Managing Partner at Sequoia Capital, will going to join the Salt Security Board of Directors team.
The company, which has secured a total of $60 million in funding to date, has plans to use the new funds to accelerate its business in 2021, with a focus on sales, product development, and marketing.
