Cognizant to buy Servian, AI, Cloud and Data Analytics cosulting company

Cognizant agreed to buy Servian, an AI, Cloud, and Data Analytics consulting company. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2008, Syndeny based company serves ANZ regions' in major verticals such as banking, telecommunications, insurance, retail, and government. Servian partners with major industry players such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, Snowflake, Oracle, HashiCorp, Talend, Informatica, and Red Hat, notes the announcement.

Post-acquisition, around 500 technology and consulting professionals from Servian will join Cognizant. It will significantly increase the size of Cognizant's cloud and data team in ANZ. Cognizant already has 1,200+ professionals in Australia serving around 110 clients.

Cognizant's 10th acquisition since 2020, Servian strengthens Cognizant's integrated, end-to-end digital transformation capabilities in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
