AI startup Cresta secured $50 Million Series B Funding Round

Cresta, a California-based expertise AI provider to the enterprise, has now secured its $50 million in Series B funding round.

Cresta is founded by Zayd Enam. It aims to make business more productive by using Expertise AI to help sales and service teams unlock their potential with the help of AI solutions.

The company has a Cresta Expertise Engine, which offers real-time AI mentoring and feedback across the entire client's communications. Its client base includes Cox Communications, Intuit, and Porsche.

Carl Eschenbach, the Managing Partner at Sequoia Capital, said, "Contact centers are in dire need of new technology to keep pace with the growing digital economy. Cresta empowers sales and service agents with real-time prompts and suggested responses—ultimately, improving their efficiency and productivity. We're excited to partner with the talented team at Cresta as they disrupt the contact center market with their proven AI platform."

Cresta's Latest Funding

Sequoia Capital led the latest funding round. Other participating investors include Greylock Partners, Allen & Company, Porsche Ventures, and Andreessen Horowitz.

Post funding, Sequoia’s Managing Partner, Carl Eschenbach, will join the company’s Board of Directors team along with former AT&T CEO, John Donovan, and Cresta & Google X co-founder Sebastian Thrun.

The company will now use new funds to support its business growth and continue to enhance its Cresta Expertise Engine.
