Alcatraz AI secured additional $6.1 Million in funding

Alcatraz AI, a Redwood city-based developer of secure access control solutions, has now secured an additional $6.1 million in the latest funding round.

Alcatraz AI is founded by Tina Agostin in the year 2016. The company leverages Artificial Intelligence to detect tailgating and control access Alcatraz AI also allows organizations to automate entry into the physical locations by adding a layer of security to a building’s existing infrastructure. Alcatraz AI solutions are the tickets for frictionless access control.

The round was backed by Ray Stata, Mucker Capital, JCI Ventures, Hardware Club, and LDV Partners.

Alcatraz AI, as of now, has plans to use the new funds for its product development in access control. The company also intends to expand its access control market with the facial authentication solution, notes the announcement.
