TCS ERP on Cloud is deployed at Wavin

TCS has now announced that it has deployed TCS ERP on Cloud Platform at Wavin, a Netherland-based building and infrastructure solution company.

Wavin is a pioneer in a supplier of plastic pipe systems and solutions. It is also one of the longest-established names in the market, Wavin built its reputation on over 60 years of high quality and innovation.

ERP stands for enterprise resource planning (ERP).  What ERP does is that it integrates a company's different pillars of operations such as finance, supply chain, operations, reporting, manufacturing, and human resource activities, etc. 

Cloud ERP is Software as a Service allowing users to access Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software over the web. Due to lower upfront costs and generally billed at pay per month, deployed and maintained on-premises as well as at remote locations, Cloud ERP is becoming a popular choice for enterprises.

The TCS ERP on the cloud platform provides hosted applications and services for global enterprises allowing them to use the TCS solution frameworks, flexible business models, and alliance partnerships.

The ERP on cloud software as a service will be rolled out across all the departments of the company such as supply chain management, sales, finance, accounting, procurement, manufacturing, and distribution.

The offering comes in software as a service and business process as a service model. It brings a single point of ownership, adherence to service level agreements, and improved performance metrics, notes the announcement.
