IBM has released an AI-driven software that will provide environmental intelligence-based insights.

The solution is aimed at helping different organizations prepare and respond to climate and weather risks that could potentially disrupt business and help them assess environmental impact on the planet.

The solution will also aim to help organizations to fall in line with regulatory compliance and reporting needs.

IBM is bringing together the power of AI and hybrid cloud to provide businesses with environmental intelligence designed to help them improve environmental performance and reporting, create more efficient business operations to reduce resource consumption, and plan for resiliency in the face of climate disruptions."

IBM's AI-driven software

The environmental intelligence suite will be offered as a SaaS solution. The AI driven environmental intelligence solution will help companies monitor flooding, wildfires, weather. Apart from that, AI software will help to gain insights into potential operations disruptions and give mitigations and response efforts priority.

The insights will be delivered with the help of APIs, dashboards, alerts, and maps. These can help companies to address immediate and long term plans.

Many organizations used to face issues related to climate change, more specifically climate-related damage to assets, disruptions to supply chains and operations, as well as increasing expectations from investors and consumers to be green friendly.

The IBM environmental Intelligence helps to streamline and automate the management of environmental risks and offer solutions such as carbon accounting and its reduction.

The suite will also going to utilize data from IBM and will also take in data from advanced geospatial analytics, along with some different sets of innovations from IBM research. The company revealed that the suite would also see an amalgamation of weather data, AI, carbon accounting, and climate risk analytics capabilities.
