Secure Access Service edge (SASE) platform provider Cato Networks secured $200 Million funding
Cato Networks, an Tel Aviv based provider of a Secure Access Service edge (SASE) platform, has recently secured $200 million in funding round at a valuation of $2.5 billion.
Cato Networks was founded by Shlomo Kramer. It is a SASE platform, converging SD-WAN, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and network security into a global, cloud-native service. The solution optimizes and secures apps access for all locations and users.

Cato Networks' Latest Funding
The round was backed by the Lightspeed Venture Partners. Other participating investors include Aspect Ventures, Shlomo Kramer, Greylock, Acrew Capital, Singtel Innov8, and Coatue.
The SASE cloud startup, as of now, intends to use the new funds to accelerate sales, business growth, and technology to further support the security and global networking needs of large organizations, notes the announcement.
