Persistent Systems to acquire Data Glove for $90.50 Million

Persistent Systems has now entered into an agreement deal to buy Data Glove Inc for $90.50 million. The acquisition is expected to be completed within the coming 4-5 weeks.

Data Glove is a leader in transformative consulting services and business solutions, with total annual revenues of around $48.96 million for CY 21 and more than 700 employees across the globe.

Data Glove has its specialization in offering services across the entire Microsoft Product Suite, including Azure-based digital transformation, cloud advisory services, data modernization, workspace modernization, business application innovation, and intelligent automation.

Persistent plans to leverage this acquisition to enhance its partnership with Microsoft, to strengthen expertise in Azure-based digital transformation and some other offerings in Microsoft Slack, as well as to expand its geographic footprint and talent pool.

As a part of the acquisition deal, Persistent will form a dedicated Microsoft Business Unit as well as establish a nearshore delivery center in Costa Rica.

This acquisition also broadens our delivery capabilities with highly skilled talent, establishing a new nearshore delivery center in Costa Rica and expanding the presence in India and US.
