AI startup Buildots secured $60 Million in Series C Funding Round

Buildots

Buildots, a London-based construction management startup leveraging AI and computer vision, has now secured $60 million in a Series C funding round.

Buildots was founded by Roy Danon. It uses Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision to offer a construction management platform. It uses hardhat mounted cameras to capture imaging of each and every detail of an ongoing project during the regular site walks. The data is then analyzed using AI models to transform random visual data into actionable insights that are correlated with the project’s designs and schedule.

Executive Opinion

Roy Danon, co-founder, and CEO of Buildots, said, "This funding round is fueling an essential expansion to our product offering, which in the process moves us closer to our vision of connected construction. Facilitating better decision-making for construction teams is a key step in moving the entire industry towards greater collaboration and efficiency."

Natalie Refuah, General Partner at Viola Growth, who will also be joining Buildots' Board of Directors, said, "Traditional markets like construction are increasing their embrace of digital transformation. With top-notch technology and a superb team, Buildots offers immense potential in terms of efficiency and profitability. We are excited for their continued success capitalizing on this market."

Buildots' Latest Funding

The round was backed by Viola Growth and Eyal Ofer’s O.G Tech with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, TLV Partners, Maor Investments, and Future Energy Ventures.

Post funding, Natalie Refuah, General Partner at Viola Growth, will now be joining the Buildots Board of Directors team.

The AI startup, as of now, has plans to use the new funds to expand its solution to support more workflows within construction teams, notes the announcement.
