US cyber security firm Trellix opens new Data Centre in Mumbai, India
Trellix, a US-based cybersecurity firm, has now opened its new data center in Mumbai for customers to meet their data residency and compliance requirements.
The new data center will offer direct, high-performance access to Trellix’s endpoint protection platform (EPP), and local management, allowing direct and faster access to the Trellix platform.

center will help us to cater to the stringent compliance needs of our
customers, especially in the banking, finance, and government sectors. We already have a significant presence in India, with one of our largest research and development centers in Bengaluru powering our global solutions, and we will continue to invest in our presence".

The rapid transition to a digital economy in India witnessed a major data boom in recent times.
Some companies, such as Equinix, NTT, Cisco, and Vultre, among others, have been setting up their data center operations in the country in recent months.
India’s data centers are distributed between its top four metros, with Mumbai accounting for the majority share, followed by Hyderabad and Chennai.
