Infosys enters into Five-year contract with Spirit AeroSystems
Infosys has now extended its collaboration with the US-based Spirit AeroSystems to provide engineering and IT services for product development of commercial, emerging aircraft programs, business jet, and maintenance, and report and overhaul services.
As a part of this engagement, Infosys said that it would offer end-to-end product development services, which include sustaining engineering, stress engineering, design engineering, system engineering, manufacturing engineering, and repair and maintenance.

The IT major said that it would leverage knowledge-based engineering to accelerate product development across the value stream.
Additionally, Infosys will support the Spirit to secure highly efficient and effective structural designs and a robust certification process, contributing to the manufacture of innovative, lightweight, and more sustainable aircraft structures and components.
The Aerospace Center of Excellence at Infosys has a track record of world-class execution of design and engineering solutions for around two decades.
The company has collaborated with seven of the top 10 global aerospace companies and has been recognized as a leading player in aerospace and defense manufacturing.
